The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those who rely on assistive technologies.

Conformance

This website targets conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The site is regularly reviewed against these standards; any shortcomings are tracked and remediated.

What we do

• All text meets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background.
• All interactive elements are keyboard accessible.
• Focus indicators are visible and clearly distinguished from the rest of the interface.
• Pages are structured with semantic HTML so screen readers can announce headings, landmarks, and controls correctly.
• Forms have associated labels and clear error messaging positioned near the invalid field.
• The UserWay accessibility widget is available on every page for quick adjustments (text size, contrast, font, link highlighting).
