RELEASE OF TEACHERS PROFESSIONAL QUALIFYING EXAMINATION RESULTS

1.         Forwarding herewith is a master list of all teachers who sat for the PQE on 13 December 2008 and their scores.

2.         TRCN Management approved the following as cut-off marks for the various categories of teachers.

            Category         A         =          50
                                     B         =          45
                                     C         =          30
                                     D         =          20
3.         Public are to note that:

a)         Different cut-off marks were approved for the different categories to reflect their respective level of academic and professional qualifications as implied in TRCN categorization of teachers.

1. The examination questions were set by Deans of Faculties and Schools of Education in Nigeria, and not JAMB.  However, TRCN collaborated with JAMB for the printing and marking of the examination questions/answer sheets in order to ensure standardization, speed, accuracy and other desirable measures for which JAMB is reputable.
   
   
2. Teachers who failed the examination have a chance to take the future examination after paying a fee to be fixed by TRCN and completing resit form to be designed for the purpose.
   
   
3. Teachers who were unable to write the present examination are free to write the future examination at no cost.
