Apply as a teacher

It is a legal requirement for individuals employed as teachers in Nigerian schools to be registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

When teachers who qualified outside Nigeria apply for registration and meet the necessary requirements, they will be awarded either Full Registration or Provisional Registration. Teachers who hold Full Registration in a particular subject or level (e.g. Basic Education or Senior Secondary) may apply to add additional teaching areas to their registration.
